MANUAL WORKEXTENSION
eNergy360 is designed to provide contractors with an easy way to buy Offshore Insurance cover. This includes Employers Liability, Public Liability and Professional Indemnity insurance.
Your policy will not automatically include cover for any manual work. In order to be covered for manual work, this extension has to be selected.
The level of manual work that is covered is determined by the trade and activity that you select. If you select a "non-manual" trade and activity (Management/Engineering Consultants), but select the Manual Work Extension, this will be defined as:
"Manual work that is incidental to your Occupation and restricted to the use of hand tools only and does not account for more than 20% of your turnover or fee income"
If you select a trade that is a manual trade (eg. Engineering/Trades), then the 20% restriction is lifted, provided that your role is not a 100% manual role.
